Local Housing Resources

State and Federal Housing Resources

  • Colorado Emergency Rental Assistance (CERA): This program, managed by the Colorado Division of Housing, provides emergency rental assistance to households facing eviction or at risk of it.

    • Eligibility: Households must meet income eligibility requirements and other qualifying factors. 

    • Application Process: Applications are often randomly selected, with priority given to those facing eviction.

  • 2-1-1 Colorado: This statewide helpline connects individuals with a wide range of resources, including emergency shelter, food, and rental assistance. 

  • Housing Choice Voucher Program (Section 8): This program, also managed by the Colorado Division of Housing, provides rental assistance to income-eligible tenants, subsidizing a portion of their rent and utilities. 

  • Continuum of Care Permanent Supportive Housing (CoC PSH): This program provides rental assistance and supportive services for individuals experiencing homelessness with an identified disability.
